January
1999 Delta Communications was born. Completed Leviton
certification training and Corning Fiber certification.

April 1999
Started out as a sub-contractor for
a large national telephone company. Installed all of
their structured cabling.

1999 Began sub-contracting for other local companies.

January
2000 Began building a network and bidding on projects
independently.

2003
Landed 2 national vendors. Began to build up a national
presence and customer base.

2003 Added several large local clients.

January
2004 Added Arial cabling skills and received specialized
training from Corning in Aerial Fiber installations.

2005
Formed and launched Telephone System division. Hired staff
to sell, install and support product line. Called upon for
consulting and bid specification expertise. Developed
partnerships with AT&T, Paetec, and Nuvox. Provide telephone
bill cost analysis and make recommendations to help
businesses reduce monthly recurring costs.

2006
Focused on Telephone System division ramp up while still
growing structured cabling division and added several more
large accounts. Ranked 2nd among Leviton Dealers in the
state. Ranked 1st among Leviton Dealers in East Tennessee.

2007
Telephone System division exceeds expectations and grows
rapidly. Moved into new office space and expanded our
warehouse area to accommodate growth. Hired additional
technical staff. Considering adding two more telephone
system product lines.

2008 Rebrand company from Delta Communications to Delta
Group.
